Beginner Curling Workshop

BEGINNER CURLING WORKSHOP

This event is for beginners looking to give curling a shot! Curling instructors will be working with groups of 2-8 people to cover curling basics and get you playing a game in no time!

WHEN: Thursday, October 1 from 1:30-3:30pm 

WHERE: Halifax Curling Club, 948 South Bland St., Halifax

Sign up as an individual or with friends/family!

Open to adults and minors ages 12+. Participants under 18 must register with a parent/guardian.

Online registration and payment is required. $30 + tax per person.

Required Equipment: Clean pair of indoor sneakers to change into. We recommend wearing warm, stretchy or loose-fitting clothes. Helmets encouraged (not provided) and especially recommended for youth.

Rough schedule: 

• 1:30 - 1:45pm Safety/Equipment
• 1:45 - 2:15pm Delivering a Stone
• 2:15 - 2:30pm Sweeping and Rules
• 2:30 - 3:30pm Play a Game!

CANCELLATION POLICY: Withdrawals from the event will be fully refunded up to Sep 29, 2026. The event will require a minimum of 4 total participants to avoid cancellation. You will be notified in case of cancellation by Sep 29.
